Services designed to help you meet the needs of your event
At Japanese Booth, all our members are fully qualified interpreters and member of ITI (Institute of Translation and Interpreting) and CIOL (Chartered Institute of Linguists). Many years of experience in the industry has given our team the opportunity to deliver interpretation services at every level and in many diverse industries. But we’re always looking at new ways of improving what we do and added value we can bring to our clients’ organisations.
This is one of the reasons our work starts well before the day of the event. A conference interpreting consultant will be in touch to get a full brief from the event organiser and work closely with you throughout to understand your objectives and what we can do to help you meet your goals and make your event a complete success.
After all, here, we understand that the foundation of any great conference interpreting service is teamwork.
The secret to a great interpreting service – teamwork
Simultaneous conference interpretation is the most complex form of interpretation as it is carried out in real time during speeches using pairs of interpreters working together. It demands intense focus, so, typically, two interpreters will work at each event, swapping roles every 15 minutes or so and assisting each other in the booth.
Before that, however, in the weeks and days leading up to the event, our team will thoroughly examine the brief together to plan the best execution for each project, obtaining prep materials, researching the topics at hand, creating glossaries and learning the terminology to deliver the best possible service on the day.
You can see why excellent team-play is so important when delivering this type of service. That’s why all our team have been selected on their ability to work well together – all are highly experienced Japanese simultaneous interpreters that have worked together in the past and earned each other’s respect and admiration for being the best at what they do.
Let us know what you need by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll go the extra mile to meet the brief.
